Your Role
BDO Canada is actively seeking a Manager, Cloud Services to enhance our rapidly expanding Cloud Services division. In this role, you will be instrumental in leading and advancing BDO's cloud services offerings. Collaborating closely with our Cloud practice leader, team leads, Cloud Operations Managers, partners, and practice leaders, you will help secure new cloud business, identify innovative cloud solutions, and manage client relationships. Additionally, you will oversee the daily operations of our cloud analyst team, ensuring quality, efficiency, and compliance across all cloud service engagements.
As the Manager, Cloud Services, your responsibilities will include:
Growth: Championing revenue and profitability expansion. Leading the team to secure new business and ensure renewals. Providing guidance in the development and execution of new service offerings and training initiatives. Staying informed about Microsoft offerings and solutions. Sales: Leading pre-sales efforts, including client presentations, pricing model development, and crafting cloud proposals. Overseeing the timely and accurate management of CRM, including client follow-ups and sales pipeline tracking. Engagements: Managing high-volume cloud engagements within budget, timeline, and scope. Acting as a point of escalation for customer and team issues, providing management and guidance for resolving customer satisfaction concerns. Cultivating deeper client relationships and assisting in expanding engagement footprints to drive additional revenue. Operations: Managing the team to ensure effective operations delivery, high quality, and exceptional customer service. Serving as the primary escalation contact for cloud operations and support teams. Contributing to practice planning by reviewing KPIs, profitability metrics, team efficiency, and operational improvements. Talent: Overseeing the cloud operations analyst team and ensuring effective utilization of team members. Providing ongoing mentoring and coaching to the team. Fostering a sense of purpose within the team; developing short and long-term objectives aligned with our core values, mission, and vision. Conducting interviews and hiring new talent as the team expands.How Success is Measured in Your Role:

Proven experience managing a cloud services, sales, operations, or support team. Background in technology consulting, cloud solutions provision (Microsoft CSP), or similar, with a focus on driving pragmatic outcomes for clients. Experience with a Microsoft Partner and familiarity with products such as Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, or other cloud software vendors in areas like cloud licensing, sales operations, or pre-sales. Demonstrated ability to drive results using CRM or pipeline/sales management tools. A technical background (e.g., IT managed services, software development, architecture, IT infrastructure, etc.) is advantageous. A passion for cloud technology/services, emerging technologies, and a commitment to developing expertise in this area. Experience in creating and implementing operational procedures and continuous improvement initiatives is a plus. Excellent customer-facing, communication, and presentation skills. Proven aptitude for troubleshooting and problem-solving. Strong multi-tasking and time management abilities. Expertise in strategic planning and management.-
