Job Summary

FCC Construction is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Estimator to join our team. As an Electrical Estimator, you will be responsible for conducting thorough reviews of contract documents, specifications, and drawings to ensure accurate estimates and bids.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed reviews of contract documents, specifications, and drawings to identify material, labor, and equipment requirements.
  • Develop and maintain accurate estimates and bids for electrical and instrumentation projects.
  • Collaborate with project managers, division managers, and site supervisors to ensure estimates align with project requirements.
  • Participate in site reviews, tender reviews, and project closing meetings to ensure estimates are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Review and obtain signatures on tender closing documents, including bonding and insurance certificates.
  • Follow up with general contractors, clients, and owners to obtain bid results and ensure timely project completion.
  • Participate in daily and weekly estimating reporting to ensure accurate tracking of project progress.
  • Meet monthly and yearly quotas for estimating and bidding.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical estimating and bidding.
  • Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office.
  • Familiarity with BIM and Procore software.
  • Exceptional analytical and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
