Job Title: Line Haul Truck Driver

Sea to Sky Courier and Freight Ltd. is seeking a reliable and skilled Line Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a Line Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and adjust routes to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions
  • Load and unload goods safely and efficiently
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle is in good working condition
  • Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
  • Perform brake adjustments and preventive maintenance
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
  • Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo
  • Transport and handle dangerous goods
Requirements:
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Attention to detail and reliability
  • Judgement and ability to work independently
Work Environment:

As a Line Haul Truck Driver, you will be working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction. You will be required to work 40 hours per week, with the possibility of overtime.
