Job Title: Bookkeeper

We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team at Chester Service Centre Limited.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and reconciling accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledgers and financial statements.
  • Payroll Processing: Prepare cheques for payroll and ensure timely payment to employees.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports, including trial balance and statistical reports.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and laws.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma in a related field.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
  • Skills: Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Office. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
