Job Title: Bookkeeper

We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team at Chester Service Centre Limited. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and general ledgers.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting Standards Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, including GAAP and IFRS.
  • Payroll and Benefits Administration: Process payroll, including calculating salaries, wages, and benefits.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports, including trial balances, and reconcile accounts.
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
  • Skills: Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Office. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
