Food Service Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at St. George Restaurants Limited.
Job Summary:The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that all food and service meet quality control standards. This includes supervising and coordinating the activities of staff, training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and maintaining records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, including food service counter attendants and food preparers.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and ensure that they are aware of and follow all relevant policies and procedures.
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and provide regular reports to management.
- Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys, and ensure that all food is stored and handled in a safe and sanitary manner.
- Establish work schedules and ensure that all staff are aware of their duties and responsibilities.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, customers, and management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
The Food Service Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of customer interaction. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment and provide excellent customer service.
Language:The primary language of work is English.
Hours:The successful candidate will work 30 to 40 hours per week.
