Job Title: Development Director

At ROME GROUP, we are seeking a highly skilled Development Director to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for maximizing donor contributions and overseeing the major gifts, planned giving, and annual fund to ensure strategic integration and alignment with our vision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with foundation leaders to establish goals, objectives, and strategies for fundraising efforts.
  • Develop and direct comprehensive fundraising programs, including capital and endowment campaigns, annual fund, and major gift efforts.
  • Supervise the development and integration of planned gift, major gift, special gift, and annual fund solicitation strategies.
  • Assess the fundraising potential of the Foundation through giving history, hospital departments, and programs, and guilds to make solicitation assignments.
  • Institute metrics for measuring progress toward goals and for ensuring accountability.
  • Manage individual(s) including but not limited to: hires, trains, assigns work, manages & evaluates performance, conducts professional development plans.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree – Business
  • Experience: 5-10 years
  • Supervisor Experience: 5-10 years
