Executive Director of Development

Planned Parenthood Great Rivers seeks an experienced and strategic Executive Director of Development to lead our fundraising efforts and advance our mission to provide reproductive health care and education to residents of Missouri and Illinois.

About the Role

The Executive Director of Development will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive fundraising strategy to secure contributions from individuals, foundations, and corporations. This includes:

  • Building and maintaining relationships with major donors and prospects
  • Developing and executing fundraising campaigns and events
  • Managing a team of development staff and volunteers
  • Collaborating with the executive team to advance the organization's strategic goals
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A bachelor's degree from a four-year accredited college or university
  • A minimum of five years of experience in fundraising and development
  • Proven track record of success in securing major gifts and developing strategic partnerships
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
