Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Family Pizza Humboldt. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our kitchen and front-of-house areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring high-quality service and adherence to health and safety standards.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure they are equipped to provide excellent customer service.
  • Staff Management: Hire and manage food service staff, including scheduling and performance management.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Reporting and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports as required.
  • Scheduling: Establish work schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels and efficient operations.
