About the Role

Nu-Way Personnel Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Recruitment Specialist to join our team. As a Recruitment Specialist, you will be responsible for identifying current and prospective staffing requirements, preparing and posting job notices, and coordinating the selection and examination boards to evaluate candidates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staffing Planning: Identify current and prospective staffing requirements to ensure adequate staffing levels.
  • Job Posting: Prepare and post job notices and advertisements to attract qualified candidates.
  • Candidate Sourcing: Collect and screen applicants, and advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment.
  • Candidate Evaluation: Review candidate inventories, contact potential applicants to arrange interviews, and recruit graduates of colleges, universities, and other educational institutions.
  • Selection Process: Co-ordinate and participate in selection and examination boards to evaluate candidates, and notify applicants of results of the selection process.
  • Onboarding: Prepare job offers and advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures.
  • Employee Relations: Organize staff consultation and grievance procedures, negotiate settlements of appeals and disputes, and co-ordinate termination of employment process.
  • Employee Development: Determine eligibility to entitlements and arrange staff training.
  • Supervision: Supervise personnel clerks performing filing, typing, and record-keeping duties.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in recruitment or a related field.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word.
