Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Recruitment Specialist to join our team at Jobs For U. As a Recruitment Specialist, you will be responsible for identifying current and prospective staffing requirements, providing information and services to employees, and coordinating the selection and examination boards to evaluate candidates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify current and prospective staffing requirements and provide information or services to employees
  • Prepare and post notices and advertisements to attract top talent
  • Collect and screen applicants, advising them on employment requirements and terms and conditions
  • Review candidate inventories and contact potential applicants to arrange interviews
  • Recruit graduates of colleges, universities, and other educational institutions
  • Co-ordinate and participate in selection and examination boards to evaluate candidates
  • Notify applicants of results of the selection process and prepare job offers
  • Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures
  • Determine eligibility to entitlements and arrange staff training
  • Supervise personnel clerks performing filing, typing, and record-keeping duties
Requirements
  • College/CEGEP education
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Efficient interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
