• Manage tender submissions for civil engineering and water projects;

• Oversee the technical aspects of service proposals related to civil engineering and water management;

• Exhibit strong technical expertise in civil engineering and water management, particularly in linear infrastructure, stormwater management, and the development of stormwater master plans;

• Handle the technical delivery and closure of civil engineering and water projects;

• Ensure the quality of work produced by the civil and water engineering team;

• Mentor team members to foster their growth and development; encourage learning from both successes and challenges within the team;

• Promote effective collaboration among various groups and disciplines within Arup, at local, regional, and international levels;

• Build and maintain healthy, long-lasting relationships with key clients and partners;

• Ensure successful commercial outcomes and efficient delivery/closure of projects undertaken by the civil and water engineering team;

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering;

• Fully bilingual;

• Professional P.Eng/OIQ certification;

• Over 12 years of experience in project design and management with a focus on civil engineering, utilities, and water;

• At least 5 years of experience in leading and managing an engineering team;

• Experience in business development;

• Strong skills in technical proposal writing;

• Awareness of commercial and financial aspects, with the ability to develop fee proposals;

• Ability to prioritize effectively and manage deadlines;

• Proficient presentation skills, capable of engaging with colleagues and clients at all levels.
