Job Title: Civil Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our team at Stantec Consulting International Ltd. As a key member of our Integrated Design team, you will play a crucial role in delivering innovative solutions for our clients.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to work on a variety of exciting Energy & Resources projects across North America and internationally. You will be responsible for performing and reviewing earthworks design, stormwater management plans, and civil infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and review earthworks, grading, and stormwater drainage systems.
  2. Develop and review stormwater management plans, including retention and detention ponds and controlled discharge outlets.
  3. Prepare and review reports, planning studies, specifications, and detailed design drawings.
  4. Coordinate with project managers, discipline leads, and inter-discipline teams.
  5. Function as a discipline lead on projects and manage project scope, budget, schedule, and resources.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 6 to 8 years of experience working on engineering design projects.
  3. Strong understanding of civil earthworks, grading, and stormwater drainage design.
  4. Working knowledge of Civil3D and other civil design and modeling software.
