Job Title: Program Management Director

As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in the delivery of major municipal water programs. We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Program Management Director to lead our team in the Greater Toronto Area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage all phases of water and wastewater infrastructure programs, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Oversee the design of water/wastewater infrastructure, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Manage ethical and job safety practices, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement program delivery methodologies, aligning with client parameters and objectives.
  • Drive innovation in program management approaches and methodology, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing best practices.
  • Work closely with Global Business Lines, Regional leadership, and Market Sector Leaders to identify strategic new business opportunities and develop solutions to address them.
  • Identify areas of high risk and proactively take action to positively impact program outcomes.
  • Contribute to the global learning and people development strategy for program management, including identification of talent and development of resourcing plans.
  • Assess long-term and disruptive trends in the area of expertise, proactively addressing emerging challenges and opportunities.
  • Propose skill development approaches and workforce planning to deliver capabilities for the future.
  • Actively lead and support the attraction and retention of top-tier talent within program management.
  • Accountable for overall financial success and delivery of AECOM Program Management agreement, including proactive communication with client and AECOM leadership on the delivery of the program on all elements including financial, technical quality, and schedule.
  • Stay abreast of industry standards and approaches, implementing best practices and ensuring project work is undertaken in accordance with corporate health and safety policies and quality management systems.
  • Mentor staff and ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality results.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, or related field.
  • 12+ years of experience in the management of programs exceeding $500M, including 4 years of leadership.
  • Driver's license in good standing.
