Sales Manager Job Description

Brandt is seeking a Sales Manager to lead our Ayr, London, and Windsor locations.

The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth and profitability in the Truck & Trailer department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement asset management strategies to achieve turn and aging goals, as well as protect company assets.
  • Optimize inventory levels to meet sales and market share objectives.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing Sales Department team, focusing on long-term success for the company, customers, and employees.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Credit Services and VPO of Operations to manage branch account receivables.
  • Provide market insights and competitive analysis to inform business decisions.
Requirements:
  • Strong relationship-building skills with corporate departments, key business partners, and customers.
  • Confident decision-making skills in financial transactions, sales strategy, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • High-level critical thinking, analysis, and reasoning skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed, with a valid driver's abstract.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of direct work experience in sales management.
  • Experience in the heavy equipment industry is an asset.
