Senior Mechanical Systems Integration Engineer

Key Responsibilities- Work with suppliers on projects related to mechanical systems components for New Product Development, including periphery, cabinets, window shades, water & waste, oxygen, ECS, tables, and door mechanisms.
- Define technical requirements and participate in supplier strategies for new systems.
- Collaborate with internal parties, including Operations, Projects, Programs, Procurement, Technical, and negotiate interfaces with other systems/structures and formalize agreements on Interface Control Drawings (ICD).
- Lead technical meetings with suppliers and be responsible for the delivery of quality engineering documentation that meets Bombardier Standards.
- Chair design reviews and master regulatory and industry requirements.
- Ensure system components meet technical and certification requirements.
- Act as a technical leader and transfer knowledge through coaching/mentoring within your larger team.
You have a college or University mechanical or aerospace engineering degree or equivalent with more than ten (10) years of relevant experience. You have relevant technical business aircraft interiors experience, knowledge of Global Aircrafts and Mechanical Systems Integration is an asset. You have solid experience working with Enovia/Catia and Teamcenter/NX (GSD, Assy, Part Body, Drafting, etc.) and understand product structure and aircraft certification.
You have the ability to understand complex engineering issues and are innovative in problem solving. You are well organized and project-oriented. You have good communication skills, including good English writing skills, as well as good English and French verbal skills.
