As a Senior Engineering Professional, you will work with suppliers on projects related to mechanical systems components for New Product Development. Your responsibilities will include:
- Defining technical requirements and participating in supplier strategies for new systems
- Collaborating with internal parties and suppliers for problem-solving on a daily basis
- Negotiating interfaces with other systems/structures and formalizing agreements on Interface Control Drawings (ICD)
- Leading technical meetings with suppliers and delivering quality engineering documentation that meets Bombardier Standards
- Chairing design reviews and mastering regulatory and industry requirements
- Ensuring system components meet technical and certification requirements
- Acting as a technical leader and transferring knowledge through coaching/mentoring within your team
We are seeking a candidate with a college or university mechanical or aerospace engineering degree or equivalent, and more than ten years of relevant experience. Relevant technical business aircraft interiors experience, knowledge of Global Aircrafts and Mechanical Systems Integration, and experience working with Enovia/Catia and Teamcenter/NX are assets. You must have good communication skills, including good English writing skills, as well as good English and French verbal skills. Self-motivation, teamwork, and the ability to work under pressure are essential.
