About the Role

Bombardier is seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Mechanical Systems Integration team, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and integration of mechanical systems for our business aircraft.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead technical meetings with suppliers and ensure the delivery of high-quality engineering documentation that meets Bombardier standards.
  • Chair design reviews and ensure that system components meet technical and certification requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Operations, Projects, and Procurement, to negotiate interfaces and formalize agreements on Interface Control Drawings (ICD).
  • Define technical requirements and participate in supplier strategies for new systems.
  • Act as a technical leader and transfer knowledge through coaching and mentoring within the team.
Requirements
  • College or University degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or equivalent.
  • More than 10 years of relevant experience in technical business aircraft interiors.
  • Knowledge of Global Aircrafts and Mechanical Systems Integration is an asset.
  • Experience working with Enovia/Catia and Teamcenter/NX (GSD, Assy, Part Body, Drafting, etc.).
  • Understanding of product structure and aircraft certification.
  • Ability to understand complex engineering issues and innovative problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills, including English writing and verbal skills, as well as French verbal skills.
