**About the Role:**

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Architect to join our team at Resonaite. As a Senior Data Architect, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying a robust data lake in Microsoft Azure for ingesting, storing, and managing application log data.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Data Lake Design and Implementation: Lead the design, development, and deployment of a data lake in Microsoft Azure for ingesting, storing, and managing application log data.
  • Data Integration: Work with diverse data sources to extract, transform, and load (ETL) log data into the Azure data lake, ensuring efficient and secure data processing.
  • Anomaly Detection: Develop and implement machine learning models and algorithms to parse log data, identify anomalies, and detect deviations from expected behavior based on defined business logic.
  • Threat Detection: Build analytics and detection frameworks to identify potential threats or suspicious activities by monitoring log patterns and leveraging Azure's security tools.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with client stakeholders, data scientists, and security teams to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable data solutions.
  • Optimization and Performance Tuning: Optimize data storage and retrieval processes, ensuring high performance and scalability in the Azure environment.

**Requirements:**

  • 5 years of experience in data architecture, engineering, or a similar role, with a focus on building data lakes and handling large-scale data.
  • Azure Expertise: Proficiency in Microsoft Azure data services, including Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, and Azure Machine Learning.
  • Data Science Skills: Strong experience in data modeling, machine learning algorithms, anomaly detection techniques, and data analytics tools (e.g., Python, R, SQL).
  • Security Knowledge: Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts and the ability to identify threats, detect anomalies, and apply security best practices.
  • Programming Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Scala, or SQL, and experience with data processing frameworks like Apache Spark.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities with a knack for analyzing complex datasets and identifying patterns and insights.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and clients.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or similar are preferred.
