Job Title: Medical Clinic Receptionist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Clinic Receptionist to join our team at Carleton Medical Clinic. As a Medical Clinic Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Greet patients and visitors, and direct them to the appropriate area or contact person.
  • Manage patient flow, ensuring that patients are seen in a timely manner.
  • Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and respond to patient inquiries.
  • Process patient registration, including updating patient records and verifying insurance information.
  • Manage medical records, including scanning and filing documents.
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as data entry and report generation.
  • Assist with scheduling appointments and procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
  • Provide general administrative support to the medical team.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a medical office setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of medical software.
Work Setting:

This is a permanent, full-time position working 35 to 40 hours per week. The work language is English.
