Fulbright Canada is seeking a highly skilled Public Affairs and Communications Officer to join our team. As a key member of our professional staff, you will play a vital role in shaping and executing our communications strategy.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a comprehensive communications plan to promote the Foundation's programs and activities.
- Manage and promote the public-facing elements of our programs, including report writing, alum relations, public relations, web development, and media outreach.
- Collaborate with senior management and program staff to ensure consistent and engaging messaging across various platforms.
- Produce high-quality content, including print materials, social media posts, videos, and other promotional opportunities.
- Liaise with grantees and alumni on all matters relating to outreach and develop new opportunities for alums and partners.
- Support the CEO on new initiatives designed to promote the Fulbright Canada mission.
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in public relations, journalism, marketing, or a related field.
- Experience in a communications role, preferably with social media experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with graphic design tools and related software applications.
- Strong logistics, organizing, and event planning skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and virtual work tools such as Zoom.
