Job Title: Sous Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our culinary team at Great Northern Snowcat Skiing (1990) Ltd. in a resort setting.

Job Summary:

The Sous Chef will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in the planning, preparation, and presentation of meals for our guests. This includes menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen management.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning and food preparation
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of kitchen staff
  • Ensure high-quality food presentation and service
  • Manage kitchen inventory and supplies
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to achieve culinary goals and objectives
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience as a Sous Chef in a resort or hotel setting
  • Proven track record of menu planning and food preparation
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods
