Leasing Consultant for Residential Properties

Position Overview:
We are seeking a knowledgeable Residential Leasing Agent to become a vital part of our leasing team within a residential rental development. The Leasing Agent will be responsible for managing the leasing process and supporting the Leasing Manager in all leasing-related activities. Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting all leasing activities, including outreach campaigns, property tours, and report preparation.
- Highlighting property features, amenities, and rental pricing to prospective tenants.
- Implementing current marketing strategies and incentives to attract potential residents.
- Maintaining accurate records of all interactions with prospective tenants in the designated database.
- Assessing tenant needs and matching them with suitable rental options.
- Ensuring a positive resident journey from initial inquiry through to move-in.
- Proactively achieving leasing goals and filling vacancies with qualified residents.
- Updating online listings and advertisements, reporting any inconsistencies to the leasing manager.
- Responding promptly to all rental inquiries, adhering to a 30-minute response time policy.
- Following up with prospects throughout the leasing process.
- Collecting applications and ensuring all documentation is complete and organized.
- Complying with internal screening procedures for applicants.
- Adhering to the Residential Tenancy Act regulations.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Enjoyment of a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
- Proficient in computer applications, particularly MS Office; experience with CRM systems is a plus.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
- Strong organizational, communication, and time management abilities.
- Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times.
- Physical capability to lift up to 25 lbs and navigate stairs as needed.
- Bonus: Familiarity with the Residential Tenancy Act.
- Preferred 1-3 years of relevant experience in sales or leasing.
