The SAP SuccessFactors HCM Specialist plays a crucial role in our people strategy by delivering technical and functional expertise in technology and process implementation, allowing leaders to effectively plan, recruit, manage, and develop our most valuable asset—our people.
Your responsibilities will include collaborating with People and Culture (P&C), peers, IT, and other stakeholders to comprehend business objectives, operational models, and processes related to Human Capital Management (HCM).
Utilizing this knowledge, you will define, configure, maintain, extend, and operate the SAP SuccessFactors HCM/platform suite to provide the necessary capabilities for delivering a world-class employee experience while supporting P&C operations.
This position serves as a primary contact for technical issues related to Employee Life Cycle operations, focusing on platform evolution, management, maintenance, integration, and payroll support.
This role requires a detail-oriented approach, encompassing systems administration, governance processes, and testing responsibilities.
Collaborate with P&C, IT, and other technology teams to define, configure, maintain, extend, and operate the implementation of the SAP SuccessFactors HCM/platform suite.
Responsibilities include designing, developing, and managing integrations between SAP SuccessFactors and both internal and external applications.
Work directly with internal stakeholders and external vendors to provide technical support for integration issues and system enhancements.
Partner with the Payroll functional team to devise solutions that streamline payroll processing.
Engage closely with P&C, IT, and other stakeholders to identify, analyze, and implement business process improvements and system enhancements that support the existing suite of HR Solutions.
Conduct impact analysis, educate teams, and communicate findings regarding system releases.
Liaise with SAP and other partners, managing support and incident cases to effectively identify and resolve issues.
Support identity and access management security functions, including provisioning with SAP and partners.
Act as a consultant to business stakeholders and P&C functional owners, analyzing business and technical requirements to deliver expected solutions.
Evaluate SAP Platform solutions and contribute to the HR Technology Roadmap, focusing on prioritization, risk management, and resource assessment within your scope of accountability.
Perform regular system monitoring to verify and ensure the integrity and availability of the system.
Qualifications include:
- 8+ years of proven experience in an HR Technology and process role with strong knowledge of integration and data practices.
- Minimum of 4 years of hands-on configuration experience with SAP SuccessFactors EC and ECP Payroll.
- Experience with ADP Payroll for the US and Canada.
- Experience building integrations between applications/systems using tools such as flat files, APIs, connectors, SFTP, etc.
- Knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors APIs, data models, and reporting.
- Bachelor's degree in information technology or a related discipline preferred.
- SAP SuccessFactors certification in at least two modules with extensive platform knowledge is an asset.
Strong communication skills are essential, with the ability to convey technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
Demonstrated consultative skills with the ability to build solid relationships among colleagues, P&C Functional Teams, cross-functional stakeholders, and partners.
Understanding of IT best practices is crucial.
This position may require work outside of normal business hours, including occasional weekends or holidays.
Flexibility is available, but you will be expected to work several days a week from the office and attend on-site meetings as requested.
