About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shift Manager to join our team at KFC Restaurant. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, as well as provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure they are meeting the required standards.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that their experience is positive and memorable.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and other key performance indicators, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: Will train, or equivalent experience.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant.
  • Supervision: 1 to 2 people.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 30 hours per week.
