Job Description

A seasoned Controller and CFO is sought after by a well-established family-owned business in Ottawa, Canada. As a key member of the leadership team, you will oversee daily accounting functions, manage financial processes, and provide guidance to senior management and department heads.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee accounting processes to ensure accurate financial records and compliance with regulations
  • Develop and implement strategic financial plans to drive business growth and improve efficiencies
  • Provide financial guidance to senior management and department heads
  • Manage financial processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting

Requirements:

  • CPA designation with a minimum of 10 years post-qualification experience in Canada
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and leadership abilities
  • Keen analytical skills with a proven track record of streamlining processes and improving efficiencies
  • Proficient in both official languages (English and French)
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office products, particularly Excel
