Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager, Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis to join our team at Mitel. As a key member of our Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis team, you will play a critical role in providing finance management and support to the People & Culture team, as well as contributing to the preparation of management reporting, the consolidated annual budget, and quarterly forecasts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare monthly financial results for the executive team and shareholders, including preliminary flash reports and detailed financial results packages and slide decks.
  • Prepare quarterly Board and lender reporting.
  • Act as a finance business partner for the People & Culture team, providing support with monthly close and results reporting, monitoring performance, and advising management on actions needed to address identified risks and opportunities.
  • Partner with the People & Culture team on company-wide modeling and reporting of personnel-related spend, including merit and statutory increase budgets and bonus programs.
  • Own special charges reporting and forecasts, including consolidation and reporting of corporate cost reduction programs.
  • Support company-wide budget and forecast processes, including rolling up the consolidated annual budget and quarterly forecasts.
  • Perform ad hoc analysis and reports as required by business needs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree required; MBA or accounting designation (CPA) highly preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in FP&A or a combination of financial positions that include FP&A.
  • Previous experience leading a small team.
  • Highly proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint with experience building and managing complex financial models.
  • Ability to work with large and disparate data sets from multiple sources/systems and simplify the information for intended purpose.
  • Must be able to build relationships across functions and be influential to achieve results based on data and facts.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently while meeting deliverables under tight time constraints.
  • Ability to act as a business partner to the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) and influence decisions related to financial impacts and business performance.
