Position Overview
As a key member of our specialized team in industrial building services, you will take the lead on medium-scale projects focusing on mechanical services within the mining, energy, and heavy industry sectors. Your role will involve coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of mechanical services, including ventilation, dust collection, heating, air conditioning, plumbing, fire protection, compressed air, and energy recovery for diverse industrial applications.

Your Responsibilities
In this role, you will:

  • Oversee the execution of studies and detailed engineering assignments for HVAC and industrial mechanical service projects.
  • Develop budgets and timelines while ensuring team engagement.
  • Communicate project objectives clearly to your team.
  • Ensure the quality of deliverables, manage costs, and adhere to schedules while prioritizing health and safety.
  • Monitor performance indicators and provide monthly updates to clients.
  • Guide project leaders to meet their objectives.
  • Manage client expectations and foster satisfaction.
  • Present change notices to clients and define additional project scopes.

Qualifications and Skills
To thrive in this role, you should possess:
  • A university degree in Mechanical Engineering and membership in the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec.
  • Approximately 15 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Proven experience in mechanical project management within the industrial, energy, or mining sectors.
  • Strong expertise in HVAC systems and mechanical services.
  • Willingness to travel for short-term assignments.
  • Relevant experience in project management and technical report writing.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and French.
