Objective

The selected candidate will serve as a key resource within the maintenance division, tasked with ensuring the reliability of equipment across the East Canada Pipelines and Terminals. This role is essential for maintaining operational stability in line with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement preventive and predictive maintenance strategies
  • Ensure adherence to corporate and regulatory standards for reliability, environmental safety, and health
  • Conduct thorough monitoring of processes under your oversight
  • Identify critical machinery and guarantee operational readiness
  • Perform failure analysis, propose recommendations, and execute solutions
  • Maintain the CMMS system (SAP PM) with current data
  • Determine training needs for maintenance personnel regarding tools and equipment
  • Engage in projects and provide technical support for equipment design
  • Work closely with Planners, Supervisors, and Maintenance Managers
  • Offer technical assistance to maintenance technicians
  • Contribute to planned major shutdown initiatives
  • Coordinate critical tasks for significant equipment repairs
  • Participate in annual reviews of the maintenance budget
  • Enhance expertise and build a network of reliability professionals through training and conferences

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • 5-7 years of experience in mechanical reliability, maintenance, planning, or oil operations
  • Membership in the Quebec Order of Engineers
  • Technical proficiency in various disciplines: mechanical, instrumentation, electrical, etc.
  • Bilingual in French and English
  • Familiarity with root cause analysis (RCA) processes and SAP PM software is highly advantageous
  • Leadership qualities and the ability to coordinate a team
  • Strong organizational skills and analytical thinking

This position may require occasional travel.
