Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Ontario Inc. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure their success.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Reporting and Administration: Prepare and submit reports, and maintain accurate records of work schedules and employee performance.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service or culinary role.
  • Language: English or French.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
