Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Supervisor to join our team at Sherry Carrier Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our warehouse, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and supervise warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and shipping inventory.
  • Ensure that all warehouse equipment and machinery are in good working condition and perform routine maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Develop and implement procedures to improve warehouse efficiency and productivity.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise warehouse staff, including conducting performance reviews and providing feedback.
  • Manage inventory levels, including ordering and receiving supplies and materials.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • College diploma or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a supervisory role in a warehouse or logistics environment.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a physically demanding environment.
Working Conditions:
  • Fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines.
  • May be required to work overtime, including evenings and weekends.
