Warehouse Supervisor Job Description

At SHERRY CARRIER INC., we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and distribution center.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise a team of 5-10 employees and provide guidance and support to ensure they are meeting their performance goals.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the receipt, storage, and shipment of inventory, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Logistics and Operations: Coordinate with other departments to ensure efficient and timely delivery of products to customers.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and coaching to employees to improve their skills and knowledge.
  • Performance Management: Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to employees.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word.
Working Conditions:
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced warehouse and distribution center environment.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment.
