Position: Store Team Member - Floral Designer
Importance of the Role:
The Store Team Members at Fortinos are dedicated individuals who significantly contribute to a delightful shopping experience for our customers. They ensure that the store is well-stocked with a variety of products that meet customer needs, fostering an environment where shoppers can easily find what they seek to enhance their lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver outstanding customer service through sales, education, and consultation to cultivate customer loyalty.
- Design and create unique and appealing floral arrangements utilizing fresh, silk, and dried flowers.
- Assist in the merchandising and procurement of floral products.
- Uphold department safety, sanitation, and overall maintenance standards.
- Oversee part-time staff as necessary.
- Address customer inquiries and requests with professionalism.
- Support Garden Centre operations.
- Carry out other assigned duties as required.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in floral design within a retail environment.
- Proven creativity, innovation, and sales abilities.
- Experience in a Garden Centre is advantageous.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and self-motivated skills.
- Ability to excel in a dynamic, high-pressure setting.
