The General Employee Relations Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring effective communication with unionized employees and administering human resources processes at YUL. This dynamic role requires a strong understanding of human resources principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage various human resources administrative processes, including employment terminations, new hires, inter-airport transfers, and HR data.
  • Support employees with their requests, including general human resources questions, personal information, and job confirmation requests.
  • Collaborate with other coordinators to manage leave of absence and work accommodations.
  • Develop and implement a customer service structure for unionized and non-unionized employees.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience in human resources, preferably in a unionized environment.
  • Post-secondary education in human resources or labour relations, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience working in a federally regulated, unionized sector is an asset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other office applications.
  • Basic knowledge of collective agreement management.
