Your Key Responsibilities- Propose well-founded solutions for each project that optimize cost, content, and schedule.
- Assess the necessary workforce requirements in engineering, environmental, and construction tasks, and outline the specific steps and activities for each project.
- Identify the technical specifications relevant to the project and communicate specific requirements to the involved parties.
- Estimate the material and labor costs necessary for the successful completion of projects.
- Establish cost, content, and schedule commitments with clients prior to project initiation.
- Oversee project progress, quality, and any adjustments to commitments from the start of the project until delivery to the client.
- Generate or coordinate the creation of essential plans and specifications for project execution.
- Conduct or arrange for technical surveys, drawings, sketches, or obtain the necessary administrative and legal documentation for the project.
- Ensure the availability and accessibility of all required civil structures for underground projects.
- Adhere to contractual obligations, such as common usage, and secure permits, rights of way, and necessary servitudes.
- Identify the required clearances for obtaining permits for crossings, pipelines, highways, waterways, and transport lines.
- Engage with clients, public service representatives, engineering firms, and contractors to discuss and agree on power supply methods, network modifications, or non-energy supply contract applications.
- Possess a D.E.C. in industrial electronics technology.
- Demonstrate proficiency in the French language suitable for the role.
- Ability to utilize basic computer tools effectively.
- Capable of working independently or collaboratively within a team.
- Exhibit strong communication, persuasion, and report writing abilities.
- Possess good analytical and synthesis skills.
- Hold, or be eligible to obtain, a valid Quebec driver's license.
- Willingness to travel frequently within Quebec by air, land, and sea.
