About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our Building Structure team in Quebec. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and directing project teams to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and direct project teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Lead and mentor junior engineers and technicians in the design and delivery of projects.
  • Participate in internal peer review workshops.
  • Prepare cost estimates and technical reports.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • Ensure project quality meets WSP's internal procedures.
  • Develop project schedules and work plans and track progress.
  • Manage project risks and opportunities.
  • Supervise and manage subcontractors according to WSP's procurement procedures.
  • Support the preparation of service offers and participate actively in their realization.
  • Manage project finances, including tracking budgets, invoicing, and progress.
  • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety procedures in project teams.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, preferably in Building Structure (or equivalent).
  • Asset: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Valid permit from the Order of Engineers of Quebec.
  • Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in design in the field of building structures and 5 years in project management.
  • Ability to manage multiple and/or complex projects for public or private sectors at all times.
  • Superior communication, organization, leadership, and presentation skills.
  • Strong ability to create and maintain strong client relationships.
