About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Analyst to join our award-winning team at Intact. As a key member of our payroll team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of payroll processing, while also providing exceptional customer service to our employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process payroll transactions and ensure compliance with Canadian and provincial legislation
  • Analyze and resolve payroll-related issues and requests from employees and internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate with the payroll team to improve processes and implement best practices
  • Provide support to the call center and respond to employee inquiries
  • Reconcile and analyze overpayments, and make payment arrangements as needed
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance payroll processes and efficiency
Requirements
  • Thorough knowledge of payroll legislation and tax rules applicable in Canada
  • National Payroll Institute PCP certification (an asset)
  • Minimum 2 years of payroll experience
  • Strong client service and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing environments and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent problem-solving and judgment skills
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Bilingualism in French and English (required)
