Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and assess the functionality of instruments and systems
  • Interpret blueprints to establish work requirements
  • Repair and fine-tune system components
  • Complete maintenance and testing documentation
  • Replace defective parts as necessary
  • Calibrate instruments and components
  • Utilize logical methods for troubleshooting
  • Establish testing and maintenance protocols
  • Install new measurement instruments
  • Mentor and guide apprentices
  • Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance tasks
Certifications
  • Industrial Instrument Mechanic Trade Certification
  • Certified Control Systems Technician (CCST)
  • Certified Technician (C.Tech.)
Transportation Requirements
  • Possession of a valid driver's license
  • Personal transportation is required
  • Travel expenses are not covered by the employer
