Job Title: Technical Inside Sales

As a Technical Inside Sales professional, you will be responsible for selling high-quality Italian-made IEC metric motors, flameproof motors, coolant pumps, and metric gearboxes to distribution centers, motor shops, and PT houses. You will primarily answer inbound calls, answer questions, make suggestions, provide quotes, process orders, and provide technical/customer support as needed.

Our client has been in business for 30+ years with a staff of 25 and distributes its products throughout Canada, the United States, and Mexico. Their mission is to be the best source for Metric Motors, Gearboxes & Coolant Pumps, by providing quality customizable products, with the highest level of service in the industry.

About the Role

This is a technical inside sales role, 75% of the time you will be receiving calls from distribution centers, motor shops, and PT houses. You will be collaborating and liaising with factories and internal departments to ensure the timely delivery of products that meet customer expectations. The position requires an electrical and mechanical mindset, and the ability to decipher technical data as it relates to Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), electrical AC Motors, Gearboxes, and Coolant Pumps.

Responsibilities
  • Answer inbound calls and respond to customer inquiries
  • Provide quotes and process orders
  • Collaborate with factories and internal departments to ensure timely delivery of products
  • Provide technical/customer support as needed
Requirements
  • 1+ years of inside sales/customer service experience
  • An electrical/mechanical engineering background is an asset
