Payroll & Benefits Coordinator Opportunity

Our Calgary-based client is seeking a highly skilled Payroll & Benefits Coordinator to join their team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, benefits administration, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and process payroll reconciliations, journal entries, and year-end audits
  • Verify and process payroll, including inputting and reconciling data
  • Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies in a timely and efficient manner
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
  • Direct and plan the day-to-day operations of group benefits programs
  • Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Payroll & Benefits Coordinator or similar role
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with employees and management
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service and teamwork
