Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and client-focused individual to join our team as a Client Advisor Intern. As an RBC Ambassador, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service and driving business growth through new client acquisition and relationship development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively engage with clients in the branch and deliver a memorable service experience through completing transactions and identifying opportunities for advice and solutions.
  • Focus on education and demonstration, leveraging technology to drive solutions and retain business.
  • Contribute to team results by listening and spotting opportunities to offer additional advice, introduce clients to RBC partners, or personally fulfill client solutions.
  • Proactively take ownership of resolving and preventing client banking problems.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with partners to work as one RBC team.
  • Manage risks by adhering to compliance routines, processes, and controls to protect client and shareholder interests while completing transactions.
Requirements
  • Goal-oriented individual with a demonstrated passion for putting clients first.
  • Drive and self-motivation, as well as excellent communication skills and emotional intelligence.
  • Digital literacy across a broad range of devices.
  • Personal flexibility to work flexible hours.
  • Eagerness to learn and determination to succeed.
  • Confidence and ability to learn financial concepts and willingness to obtain the Investment Funds in Canada or the Canadian Securities Course.
