We are currently seeking a skilled IT Systems Analyst. This role will report directly to the Manager of Network and Systems Operations and will focus on the design, implementation, and upkeep of our global server infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Oversee the global server infrastructure, which includes both virtual (cloud and on-premise) and physical servers.
  • Regularly monitor, report, and manage the server environment on a daily basis.
  • Diagnose and analyze hardware and software issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement effective solutions.
  • Establish and manage server backup and disaster recovery protocols.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in performance optimization, capacity planning, and the deployment of new technologies.
  • Ensure the security and reliability of the server environment.
  • Collaborate with IT professionals to ensure the server infrastructure aligns with organizational needs.
  • Mentor and train junior systems analysts.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices.
  • Enforce server standards, guidelines, and best practices.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive server documentation.
  • Provide after-hours and on-call support as necessary.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years in server administration and management.
  • Strong expertise in Windows Server and Linux/Unix operating systems.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing technologies and platforms like AWS and Azure.
  • Proficient in server automation and scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and maintain organization.
  • Experience in troubleshooting complex systems issues is highly preferred.
  • Comfortable working in a collaborative team setting.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Able to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Capable of thriving in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
