About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Harvesting Labourer to join our team at Empire of the Sun Farms Inc. as part of our farm operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Grade and Sort Produce: Ensure high-quality produce is harvested and prepared for market by grading and sorting fruits and vegetables according to size, shape, colour, and volume.
  • Farm Maintenance: Perform regular cleaning and maintenance tasks in the greenhouse to ensure a healthy and productive growing environment.
  • Crop Management: Plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops to optimize growth and yield.
  • Harvesting and Loading: Harvest crops at the optimal time and load, unload, and transfer crates, supplies, and farm produce, livestock, and poultry as needed.
  • Machinery Operation: Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment to ensure efficient and safe farm operations.
  • Quality Control: Examine produce for quality and readiness for market to ensure high standards are met.
Requirements
  • Training Provided: Willingness to learn and train on the job.
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week.
  • Language: English.
