About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Harvesting Labourer to join our team at Empire of the Sun Farms Inc. as part of our farm operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Grade and Sort Produce: Ensure high-quality produce is harvested and prepared for market by grading and sorting fruits and vegetables according to size, shape, colour, and volume.
  • Farm Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized greenhouse environment, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment and facilities.
  • Crop Management: Plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops to ensure optimal growth and yield.
  • Harvesting and Loading: Harvest crops at the right time and load, unload, and transfer crates, supplies, and farm produce, livestock, and poultry as needed.
  • Machinery Operation: Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment to ensure efficient and safe farm operations.
  • Quality Control: Examine produce for quality and readiness for market, ensuring only the best products are sold.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn on the job.
  • Language: English language proficiency.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
