About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Harvesting Labourer to join our team at Empire of the Sun Farms Inc. as part of our farm operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Grade and Harvest Crops: Ensure high-quality produce by grading and harvesting crops according to size, shape, colour, and volume.
  • Farm Maintenance: Perform regular cleaning and maintenance tasks in the greenhouse to ensure optimal growing conditions.
  • Crop Care: Plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops to promote healthy growth and maximize yields.
  • Fertilization and Pest Control: Apply fertilizers and pesticides as needed to maintain crop health and prevent pests.
  • Equipment Operation: Safely operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment to ensure efficient harvesting and crop care.
  • Quality Control: Inspect produce for quality and readiness for market.
  • Work Schedule: Work a standard 40-hour week, with the possibility of overtime during peak harvest seasons.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn on the job.
