Job Overview

The primary responsibility is to ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of various facilities, including restrooms, locker rooms, offices, cafeterias, boardrooms, and executive areas.

Work Schedule

The position requires availability from Tuesday to Saturday, with working hours from 6:30 am to 2:30 pm.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness in offices, washrooms, locker rooms, cafeterias, boardrooms, and executive offices. Perform tasks such as vacuuming, cleaning toilets, sinks, countertops, and tables, restocking supplies, mopping floors, and dusting. Manage waste disposal, including garbage, cardboard, and secure paper recycling. Replenish supplies in lunchrooms and serving areas, including cups, creamers, napkins, coffee, sugar, and tea. Clean glass doors and turnstiles as necessary. Report any environmental or health and safety concerns as needed. Complete additional daily tasks as assigned by the Supervisor or designated personnel. Provide cleaning services for plants when required. Assist in escorting visitors when necessary. Offer support during the absence of other facility staff. Perform all other duties as assigned. Collaborate effectively with team members at all times. Maintain a flexible and approachable demeanor. Additional responsibilities may include: managing uniform orders for new hires and existing employees, serving as the point of contact for uniform inquiries, reviewing invoices for accuracy, and ordering kitchen and cleaning supplies. Adhere to G+D Environmental, Health & Safety policies and procedures, reporting any hazards or incidents to the immediate supervisor/manager. Management will ensure that employees receive job-specific Environmental, Health & Safety training and information, and that they comply with workplace policies.

Qualifications and Experience

Work Experience:

A minimum of 2 years of cleaning experience is preferred. Skills and Competencies: Ability to interpret and understand information and instructions. Capable of multitasking and staying organized. Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to apply common sense and courtesy in various situations.

Education:

A High School Diploma is preferred.

Working Conditions

The role requires the ability to rotate shifts and work overtime as necessary. Additional duties may be assigned as needed. Must manage a variety of workloads and conditions. Respond to all intercom pages within 5 minutes. Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive materials. Uphold a positive attitude in all situations. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Exposure to varying temperatures is required. Work is required both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions. A smock is required on the production floor.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to lift or push up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
