Job Summary

FLINT Corp. is seeking a skilled Scheduler to join our team. As a Scheduler, you will be responsible for planning and preparing production schedules for fabrication, installation, and maintenance of industrial process systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with Site Management Team and Client lead to develop effective project planning and scheduling.
  • Ensure all spending is approved by the Project Manager.
  • Maintain master schedule for the project and identify and record the impact of work performed and not performed as scheduled.
  • Deliver periodic project reports with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Utilize custom layouts, including critical path analysis, baseline comparisons, and look-ahead.
  • Facilitate effective front-end planning, construction, and turnover phases of the project.
  • Oversee progress and productivity of all aspects of the project.
  • Monitor changes and provide what-if analysis and planning solutions.
  • Provide recommendations and ideas to improve the planning and scheduling process.
  • Ensure all work is planned and scheduled to the highest safety standards.

Requirements

  • Experience using Primavera P6 and Prometheus required.
  • Excellent knowledge of project planning and scheduling in a mechanical setting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Minimum 2 years mechanical scheduling/planning experience in a related industrial role.
  • Ability to interpret, evaluate, and apply regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Ability to read drawings and interpret specifications.
