Partner Staffing is collaborating with a client in search of a seasoned Transportation Project Manager to enhance their operations. The successful candidate will possess extensive experience in managing transportation infrastructure initiatives and demonstrate a solid history of overseeing intricate projects from start to finish. This position demands exceptional leadership, communication, and analytical skills to guarantee effective project execution within defined parameters of scope, budget, and timeline.

Responsibilities:

  1. Formulate and oversee detailed project plans, timelines, and financial allocations.
  2. Engage with stakeholders to establish project objectives, scope, and deliverables.
  3. Track project advancement, recognize potential challenges, and apply risk management strategies.
  4. Direct and support a diverse project team.
  5. Ensure adherence to all applicable regulations, standards, and industry best practices.
  6. Apply quality assurance measures to maintain high standards of project execution.
  7. Conduct routine project evaluations and assessments.
  8. Supervise project finances, monitor spending, and ensure efficient resource distribution.
  9. Generate and present financial updates to stakeholders.
  10. Explore avenues for cost reduction and operational efficiencies.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Project Management, or a similar discipline.
  2. Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designation or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
  3. At least 7 years of experience in managing transportation projects.
  4. In-depth understanding of transportation infrastructure, including roads, highways, bridges, and public transit systems.
  5. Capability to perform effectively under pressure and juggle multiple tasks.
