Job Summary:
Morson Talent (Canada & USA) is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager to lead significant transportation-related infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, with a proven track record of delivering large-scale projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Execution: Develop and implement project plans, including project scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage a large project team, setting performance objectives, providing feedback, and mentoring team members to ensure project success.
- Client Management: Manage client expectations and maintain high levels of satisfaction throughout the project's duration.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Financial Management: Manage project budgets and schedules, authorizing changes and ensuring financial transparency.
- Communication: Develop and maintain effective communication with stakeholders, including clients, senior management, and project team members.
Requirements:
- Education: Diploma or degree from an accredited institution in project management, engineering, applied/building sciences, business, commerce, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 10 years of progressively responsible project management experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience in a senior or lead project role.
- Certifications: Certifications such as P.Eng., CET, PMP, or AACE are considered assets.
- Skills: Strong understanding of strategic planning, human resources, and people management processes. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage with all levels of an organization.
