Job Title: Full-Time Instructor

Colleges and Institutes Canada (CICan) is seeking a highly qualified Full-Time Instructor to join our team in Yellowknife. As an Instructor, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality educational programming for adults.

Job Summary:

The Instructor, Northern Leadership Development Program, will be responsible for planning, organizing, instructing, delivering, and evaluating educational programming for adults. You will instruct courses related to the Northern Leadership Development Program, evaluate the program, liaise with the advisory committee and contract staff, and recommend changes/improvements as required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, organize, and deliver educational programming for adults
  • Instruct courses related to the Northern Leadership Development Program
  • Evaluate the program and recommend changes/improvements
  • Liaise with the advisory committee and contract staff
  • Manage and maintain a learning environment conducive to providing high-quality education
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in education, organizational development, human resources, or a related field
  • Certification in leadership coaching or training
  • 3 years' experience in a leadership role
  • 2 years' experience working with Aboriginal governments or Northern community governance structures
What We Offer:

The salary range for this position is from $53.80 per hour to $64.26 per hour (approximately $104,910 - $125,307) plus an annual Northern Allowance of $3,700.
